Was last night’s game surreal or what?

It just had that feeling. Do you agree? Domonick Brown finallly makes it to the Big Show and the crowd was buzzing with anticipation and excitement. It was truly a night.! Halladay, our ace pitcher, was on the mound and all was right with the Phils. Was it though?

The cameras panned in on a player sitting on the benches. He looked so dejected and lost. It was our beloved Cf’er, Shane Victorino. His injury prompted the Phils to bring up Brown. That’s gotta hurt, no? Who could not feel bad for him? I know that I did.

So, now, Brown brings so much excitement to the game. He’s really quite good and had a great night. He’s young, fresh and the Phils future.Which gets me to wondering how our more seasoned players feel about that? Brown could take the place of them. Do they feel that they have to take their game playing up a notch to compete? There has to be mixed feelings. It’s only natural.

Nobody knows what will happen in the future. The team that we know and love is here today but did we get a glimpse last night of what it will look like tomorrow? Changes are never easy.

It’s starting to look like a completely different team of late and yet they still are holding there own and winning, it’s power of being a Phillie I guess…

The Phils have their magical moments which reminds us why we love and are thrilled by them. With the power coming back even more upon Utley and Howard’s return they will be a force to be reckoned with. I can’t wait! Thanks for the comment, Peter.
